In 2018 there were some very interesting developments in the digital media space. Firstly, Facebook decided to change the way they do business and who they prioritise in our newsfeed. Secondly, if you are a brand, business or NGO, ‘going green’ or ‘doing good’ has shifted from a ‘nice to have’ to an essential component for success, thanks to millennials, which I break down in an article written for Financial Mail’s Redzone. Creating 35 Smiles in 35 Days
Done and Dusted!!!! Hitting our clients campaign target is always such a great feeling, but blowing them out of the water is something else. We recently completed work on the #35SmilesIn35Days fundraising campaign for our client Operation Smile South Africa where we managed to help raise a total of R350,000, totally 63 smiles over the 35-day period which means 63 children can now receive life-changing surgery The campaign was launched on the Expresso Morning Show on World Smile Day – Friday, 6 October with Operation Smile ambassadors David Grier, Liezel van der Westhuizen and Operation Smile volunteer, Dr Clare Nesser. So by now we should have all heard about Inbound Marketing! If you haven't and you are a brand or an NGO you really should be getting on the buzzword band wagon now. In fact the wagon has left the station and left you behind. The power of a good story
We at Bigger Than Me are very fortunate to be working with some incredible people, NGOs and Brands who have amazing stories to tell. However, telling stories is one thing but bringing the reader, viewer and or donor to act on that piece of content is something completely different and requires something special. Early Childhood Centres – Building the future of South Africa
We have been involved in the the social space now for sometime and we have been very fortunate to work with some incredible people from all walks of life in South Africa. Over the last few months Bigger Than Me has been hard at work helping to produce and curate the digital media content for Cipla South Africa and Cipla Foundation SA on their 1st June 2016 launch of the Ajuga Early Childhood Development centre in Bhuga, Kabokweni in the Mpumalanga province.
